The Remote Engineering Design & Robotics Team supplies bespoke remote handling equipment, tooling, inspection systems and robotic systems and tooling for all aspects of remote operations plant intervention work in the nuclear industry. We cover all aspects of projects including consultancy, optioneering studies, concept design, detail design, manufacture, test, commissioning, and on-site operations. Electrical Engineers will work in the supply of remotely deployed equipment for use in active plant, underwater operations, radioactive waste size reduction and processing and decommissioning. In addition, Electrical Engineers will also be involved in the design, build and operation of inactive test rigs to prove new technology, equipment and processes prior to deployment in active nuclear plant.
