The Communications Manager will identify rich content in NNL and opportunities and channels to deliver quality communications that showcase the science, technology and innovation at our core; to enhance our reputation for delivering nuclear science that benefits society. A keen interest in Science and Technology, they will lead communication of our science and technology working closely with the VP Science and Technology; maximising content through creation of integrated plans that reach a variety of audiences – internally and externally – whilst working as part of an integrated comms team to reflect NNL strategy and ambitions. From developing strategies, sourcing stories and creating compelling science communication, to managing our communications channels and roadmaps; this is a varied role that will play a key part telling NNL’s story. The location for this role is flexible and can be based at Risley, Preston, Sellafield, Workington or Culham. Main Responsibilities for Communications Manager:
