Building Services Design Engineer

Jacobs Nuclear is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver 7bn of major projects. We are currently looking for a Building Services Designer to support the PPP (Programme & Project Partners) services for Sellafield, within our Strategic Projects business.

As a Building Services Designer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and implementing engineering solutions through to design for manufacture, the full project life cycle
• Producing technical drawings and models: HVAC component models, piping isometrics, Mechanical & Electrical Plant (MEP) component models, MEP installation drawings, MEP content or family creation
• BIM modelling for HVAC, MEP, plumbing & pipework
• Recording quantities take off and scheduling
• Delivering your scope of work to time and budget

Qualifications

• Experienced user of Revit and AutoCAD software
• Good communication skills, and able to interface with external and internal stakeholders
• Experience of highly regulated environments would be advantageous
• Familiarity of Aveva products (E3D)
• Familiarity with CIBSE guides
