Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager with a background in Nuclear on a permanent basis, to be located in Oxfordshire.
Responsibilities - Management of works coordination and planning.
- Management of small site team and subcontractors; including setting to work.
- Ensure site and subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety & Radiological regulations and controls.
- Issue of permits to work.
- Review of work instructions (RAMS) or authoring if required.
- Reporting the daily progress and planned works to Project Manager.
- Client interface and stakeholder management.
- Goods receipt & inspection.
- Requisition requests for purchase of materials and plant hire as required.
- Waste management & environmental compliance.
Personal Qualities
Experience in general radiological site management.
Good works planning skills. Weekly & daily planning meeting.
Problem solving in a radiological environment.
Excellent time management and leadership skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills; written reports required.
Good initiative and logical thinking skills
