Electrician

Job Title: Electrician - Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station, Somerset

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Pay Rate: 26 - 28 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 18:00 (10.5 hours paid daily)
• Weekend work paid at 1.5x hourly rate

Mane Infrastructure is looking to hire 4-6 experienced Electricians to join a large-scale industrial project at Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects, requiring high standards of safety, precision, and expertise.

The ideal candidates will have strong experience in industrial and process environments, including heavy-duty electrical installations. Familiarity with containment systems, such as heavy-gauge tray installations, is essential. Prior experience at Hinkley Point C or other high-security sites is highly desirable.

• Install and maintain heavy-gauge tray, ladder racks, and containment systems.
• Conduct industrial electrical installations in line with project specifications.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to all on-site health, safety, and environmental standards, including nuclear site protocols.
• Report and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Valid JIB Gold Card (mandatory)
• Strong experience in industrial electrical environments
• Familiarity with heavy industrial/process installations (tray, conduit, and containment)
• Previous experience at Hinkley Point C or other large-scale industrial/nuclear sites (preferred)
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in high-security environments

• Contract Length: Ongoing, with potential for extension based on project needs
• Location: Somerset, Hinkley Point C (Site-specific security clearance may be required)
