Site Engineer

SITE ENGINEER 5 MONTHS

NEAR HULL

We are currently seeking to recruit a Site Engineer to provide setting out services on a large civil engineering project near Hull for 5 months. Works comprise of earthworks, piling, RC structures, paving, & drainage.

This role has been confirmed to be outside iR35.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Setting out of civil engineering lines and levels
• QA & administrative responsibilities
• Promoting Health & Safety at all time and committing to continuous high standards
• Surveying tasks
• Ensuring quality control requirements are met
• Reading and understanding drawings and specifications
• Calculating quantities
• Assisting in the production of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans
• Complying with company policies and procedures

Qualifications/background:

• HND/BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Practical experience of setting out on civil engineering projects
• CSCS
• Full UK Driving licence
• SSSTS / SMSTS advantageous but not essential
