Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Nuclear Site, Reading, UK
Rate: 300 per day
Security Clearance: Ideally SC (Security Clearance)
Requirements: British Passport, ability to fill out forms promptly Job Description: We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team on a secure nuclear site near Reading. This role requires precision, technical skill, and attention to safety. You will be responsible for executing high-quality TIG welding work to meet rigorous industry standards on various metals in a controlled environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform TIG welding tasks on complex metal structures and components, adhering to all safety and quality protocols.
- Follow technical specifications and diagrams to produce precise welds.
- Operate and maintain welding tools and machinery effectively.
- Complete necessary documentation and forms accurately and promptly.
- Work within the guidelines for operations in a high-security, nuclear environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills: - Proven experience as a TIG Welder, ideally in high-security or regulated environments (nuclear, military, aerospace, etc.).
- SC Clearance (Security Clearance) is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in TIG welding processes and techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints and welding instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- British Passport holder (required for security clearance).
- Must be capable of filling out forms and documentation accurately and promptly.
Additional Information: - All applicants must hold a British Passport to meet site security requirements.
- Ideal candidates will already possess SC Clearance; however, candidates without SC clearance will be considered if they meet other qualifications.
- Immediate availability is highly desirable.
