Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Executive to join a thriving team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the metals industry, specifically with stainless steel, aluminium, or yellow metals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company targets.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metals industry.

• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Provide technical product information and support to customers.

• Process orders and handle customer inquiries promptly.

• Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maximize opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the metals industry, specifically with stainless steel, aluminium, or yellow metals.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
