Our client, a prominent national engineering design firm with a specialisation in the nuclear sector, is seeking talented EC&I Design Engineers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions, working individually or as part of a small team of engineers and designers.
- Plan and execute engineering and design activities.
- Produce technical reports and specifications.
- Generate design substantiation and scoping calculations.
- Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports.
- Perform technical reviews and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, adhering to relevant company procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Experience in highly regulated environments, such as the nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas or power generation is highly desirable.
- Any hazardous area environment experience would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Remote Handling Systems and HAZOPs is advantageous.
- Demonstrable expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline.
- A proven track record of successful project delivery, including roles that involve influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel in the definition, implementation, and delivery of engineering work packages (role-dependent).
- Possession of some level of security clearance is ideal.
