The role
As a Senior Quality Practitioner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of ensuring excellence and compliance across every phase of this critical project. This is your chance to shape and drive quality standards, lead impactful audits, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will support key operational goals, ensuring processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with industry-leading practices.

Day-to-day, you'll ensure the smooth execution of quality processes while engaging with teams to maintain high standards.

  • Support the project in quality planning activities, liaising with the QC&I team to ensure quality requirements are captured in all project phases.

  • Designing and executing risk-based audit programmes to evaluate both internal and supplier compliance.

  • Leading audits and managing non-conformance data to implement solutions that address root causes and prevent recurrence.

  • Facilitating investigations into quality events and overseeing corrective actions to drive sustainable improvements.

  • Championing quality awareness initiatives such as newsletters, toolbox talks, and lessons-learned workshops to foster a culture of excellence.

  • Collaborating with Procurement to assess supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with project quality standards.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 - 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 - 3 days working from home.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential experience of the Senior Quality Practitioner

  • Strong working knowledge of root cause analysis techniques.
  • Proven experience facilitating client audits and auditing both product and service providers.

Qualifications for the Senior Quality Practitioner

  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001:2015 is essential).

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
