Electrical Fitter - HV

DK Recruitment are looking for a CFCS Frequency Control Attendant at Devonport, Plymouth involves working within the HV (High Voltage) operations department of Devonport Naval Base. This department ensures continuous 50Hz and 60Hz power supply operations critical for business continuity and nuclear safety for our Devonport Dockyard based client.

Here's a summary of key details:

Main Duties:

• Monitor and operate 8 motor-generator frequency changers.
• Respond to control panel issues as directed by the Shift Manager.
• Conduct regular shift checks and assist in frequency changer operations.
• Provide support to the Shift Manager in ensuring smooth electrical operations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior work experience with control and instrumentation, and with operating or maintaining electrical plant and equipment.
• Skills: Familiarity with procedures and the ability to follow them closely.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 Electrical qualification.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office).

You will need to obtain and hold Security Clearance for this role.

This is initially a 26 week contract.
