Job Title: CAD Engineer
Location: United Kingdom

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the construction of two EPR reactors at the HPC site. If you have strong experience in engineering and expertise in PDMS, E3D, AutoCAD, and Tekla software, this opportunity may be for you!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Modify the 3D PDMS model of both plants to reflect site changes, ensuring compliance with modeling rules and consistency checks. This includes work on:
    • Components and equipment
    • Civil structures
    • Steelwork
    • Piping
    • HVAC ducts and components
    • Instrumentation
    • Electrical cable trays, boxes, and cabinets
    • Supports
  • Perform detailed 2D and 3D modeling activities to address site queries.
  • Create detailed 2D drawings to support the installation team and account for site adaptations.
  • Respond to site requests by gathering information, conducting technical analysis, liaising with design offices, and assessing cross-discipline impacts.
  • Conduct 2D-3D checks as needed.
  • Contribute to technical documentation for construction, such as:
    • Equipment Location Book
    • Layout Dummy Bedplate Drawing
    • Review of Anchorages for Equipment, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a design office with knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines (piping, electrical, HVAC, civil engineering).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with PDMS / E3D and AutoCAD.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the nuclear sector.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Tekla software and experience in plant layout engineering is a plus.
  • Proficiency in French is an additional asset.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design office work with comprehensive knowledge of engineering disciplines. They should also bring a minimum of 10 years of experience with PDMS / E3D and AutoCAD, along with at least 3 years in the nuclear sector. Fluency in English is essential, and additional skills in Tekla software or French are advantageous.
