Project Control Assessor
Location: Birmingham

A leading provider of services to the energy, industrial, and petrochemical sectors is seeking a Project Control Assessor to join their team. This role focuses on monitoring, coaching, and assessing learners to ensure their success in both internal and external training programs.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execution: Support learners through coaching and assessment, aligning training with site operations to maximise timely completion.
  2. Governance: Adhere to national laws, regulations, and company operating procedures.
  3. Innovation: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Communication: Build relationships internally to leverage expertise and satisfy requirements.
  5. People Development: Support the professional development of learners and take accountability for your own.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in project control within sectors such as nuclear, petrochemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, or thermal.
  • Extensive craft trade or site role experience.
  • Relevant qualifications: Project Control certification, TDLB D32/D33 Assessor, A1 or TAQA, TDLB D34, V1 or IQA.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Strong IT and literacy skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to short notice needs.
  • Experience or qualification in coaching/mentoring.


Knowledge Required:

  • Proficiency in project control disciplines (planning, costing, estimating).
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and legal regulations in the relevant industries.
  • Problem-solving and risk management techniques.
