Job Title:Secondary Lining Section Engineer

Thorn Baker has teamed up with a national Award-winning civils contractorwho are looking for a dedicated and skilled Section Engineer to join our Major Projects Team. Required Skills:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• 2-5 Years'site experience in Civil Engineering
• Ability to manage a section site engineering team
• Competent on CAD software and excel
• SMSTS
• Temporary Works Knowledge

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the Site Engineers are fully conversant with the construction methodology for the civil engineering works.
• Managing the development of HSEQ controls for the civil engineering works.
• Managing the detailed look-ahead programme for the civil engineering works.
• Delegation of dimensional control to the Site engineers and ensuring that the Temporary and permanent Works are consistently and accurately set out.
• Managing the calibration of survey equipment.
• Safety management duties as delegated by line management.
• Deputy to the Temporary Works Coordinator.
