Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Location: Warrington
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Salary: 55,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to work for a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets, carrying out proposal and estimating activities for single and low complexity multi-discipline proposals to support business strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Take full responsibility for assigned proposals, to lead and deliver high quality proposals
- Lead single 'own' discipline proposals and low complexity proposals with some other discipline content.
- Responsible for all aspects including estimate/costing, price, technical and commercial submission documents, contractual reviews and approvals
- Work with 'operations' to develop and agree execution concepts
- Liaise with clients for information, clarifications and site visits
Skills and Experience Required: - Experience in proposal and estimating
- Experience in contracting in areas such as oil & gas, nuclear, utilities or power
- Degree qualified in appropriate engineering or numerical discipline, or suitably experienced through working in relevant discipline
