Senior EC&I Engineer - North West
Are you a skilled EC&I Engineer looking to take on a leadership role in delivering innovative engineering solutions? A well-established energy company in North West England is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will support the Principal EC&I Engineer on complex design projects while independently leading smaller tasks across the full project lifecycle-from concept and design to manufacture and commissioning. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and develop fit-for-purpose EC&I engineering solutions within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver detailed design documentation and drawings, ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage designs to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and external stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Address challenging technical issues with innovative and pragmatic solutions.


Ideal Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engineering or technical specialist roles.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear sites, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation tools and AutoCAD design.
  • Exposure to BIM-enabled projects is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in the UK and willingness to obtain SC clearance if required.
