Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an international player in the nuclear energy market recognised for its innovative solutions and technology for designing, building, maintaining, and advancing the global nuclear sector to recruit a Senior Planner for its Nuclear Construction business unit's growth into the UK markets, based out of their Avonmouth office.

The Senior Planner will assist in development of some of the most complex construction projects across Europe and comes with a base salary starting up to 60,000, minimum of 9% pension, 25 days annual leave and a wealth of other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining master project schedules for collections of projects/large projects.
  • Delegating responsibilities to junior planners, assuring their outputs are aligned with the master programme.
  • Leading the planning process on large projects.
  • Leading on integrated master level schedule reporting and outputs, including EVM (Earned Value Management), resource analysis, schedule performance, and milestone reporting.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • A highly capable P6 user, with the ability to manipulate data and derive reports from the software
  • Experience producing EVM reports and analysing.
  • Mentorship/leadership experience.

  • A base salary upto 60,000 per annum
