My client is the largest ventiletion contractor in the UK and is seeking a skilled Junior HVAC Engineer to join our team in Central London. This is a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a variety of large ventilation projects.

As a Junior HVAC/Ductwork Engineer, you will be responsible for producing discipline-specific design and engineering deliverables to support projects from inception through to completion. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence and compliance with safety regulations while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Junior HVAC Engineer

  • Develop designs that meet technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Produce and manage design deliverables throughout all stages of the design process.
  • Perform and check design calculations to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, as well as installation, commissioning, and operating documents.
  • Contribute to design and safety reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce detailed assessment and substantiation reports.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of design documentation.
  • Develop cost-effective technical solutions while adhering to project timelines and budgets.


Key Requirements: Junior HVAC Engineer

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Associate membership of a discipline-specific engineering institution.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and experience in design within a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver successful design solutions in complex project environments.
  • Familiarity with safety legislation and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and IESVE design software.
  • Knowledge of containment ventilation systems.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within the nuclear industry or similarly regulated sectors would be advantageous
