Part of our Digital team, we are a leading service provider in the design and manufacture of high-quality electrical process control panels, specialising in Type 2b to Type 4 enclosures. Our innovative solutions empower industrial sectors by bridging the gap between digital and physical infrastructure.

We are seeking Stores Operative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to ensure the smooth flow of materials and components in support of our manufacturing processes.

This is a new role that is initially expected to be part-time, based on approximately 20 hours a week, with flexibility available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using both manual methods and through the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensuring materials are available to meet production demands.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations.
  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Safely package and dispatch outgoing goods to meet customer and supplier requirements.
  • Organise and maintain a clean, safe and efficient stores area.
  • Ensure all items are stored appropriately and labelled clearly.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure timely delivery of require materials.
  • Work closely with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyse stock data.
  • Generate regular inventory and usage reports

Skills and Experiences:

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent Organisational and Communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical components or manufacturing environments would be advantageous but not essential.
