Job title: Senior Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to 55,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven, Warrington, Abingdon - Hybrid Available
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- 5 years experience in relevant field
- Degree in relevant Engineering or Science field
- Nuclear or other highly regulated industry experience
- Chartership status or working towards
- Able to gain SC clearance
Role information:
- Undertake optioneering and feasibility studies
- Plan decommissioning activities
- Input data collection, conditioning and validation
- Develop multi-phase decommissioning plans
- Develop decommissioning flow diagrams
- Develop throughput models
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments
- Support the Hazard identification process
