| Description: | Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced EC&I Engineer ideally with a background in the Nuclear, Defence or other regulated sector, to be engaged on a long-term contract basis (inside IR35), with hybrid working between your location and the site in Reading. Provide electrical / control and instrumentation designs for the Facility Design Authority (FDA) such that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment and facilities are compliant with legislation, standards and requirements associated with engineering design throughout the facility lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Qualifications ONC / OND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline. HNC / HND or equivalent in electrical engineering or other related discipline. Skills: Working knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to electrical engineering. Competent in standard office software, and engineering tools and applications. Knowledge of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and / or high hazard facilities. Experience: Producing control and instrumentation designs as part of a multi-discipline design team.
