We are looking for a highly motivated Piping Engineering Construction Manager (NDT) to play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Non-Destructive Testing contract at Hinkley Point C (HPC) - a once-in-a-generation energy project.

This is a specialist role focused on ensuring the successful delivery and engineering oversight of both standard and advanced NDT techniques, including Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), in support of the MEH programme.

Principal Accountabilities
Work closely with the NDT Contract Project Manager and Technical Lead
Manage contractor documentation and maintain surveillance plans
Support development and deployment of PAUT solutions on site
Respond to Technical Queries (TQs) and manage Early Warnings (EWs)
Coordinate engineering activities between the installation and NDT contracts
Contribute to a high-performing, site-based engineering team delivering to strict deadlines

Essential Criteria
Strong background in NDT or contract engineering, ideally within nuclear, energy, or complex infrastructure sectors
Meticulous engineering standards and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues efficiently
Familiarity with various NDT techniques (UT, RT, MT, PT, PAUT)
Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
Working knowledge of contractual/commercial frameworks

Desirable Criteria
Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline
Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership
Knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) systems
Piping installation or commissioning experience
Experience with CDM regulations and health & safety best practice
French language skills advantageous
UT certification a plus
